LIB reported the story of two young ladies who lost their lives at a friend's birthday party in Elegushi Beach. The Ladies named Funmi and Shola, who were on the verge of completing their Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, sadly lost their lives after being carried away by heavy tides which swept them into the Atlantic Ocean. There were no safety measures like an emergency medical unit, patrol unit or even life guards to assist them.
The Lagos State Police Command has now arrested two managers of the Beach where they drowned and the case is currently under investigation.
Confirming their arrest, Lagos State Police PRO, SP Dolapo Badmos said two managers of the beach have been arrested are being investigated and their names will be released if they ascertain their role in the deaths
